Job Title: Controller
Reports to: Control Room Supervisor
Department: Operations
Job Purpose: Responsible for the day to day running of our busy control centre, dealing with various calls including book-ons and book-offs, check calls and alarm activations. You are required to keep logs, write reports and work in a busy environment.
Rate: As advertised.
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday nights only and weekend days and nights. Working on a roster basis. Approx 48 hour week.
Principal Accountabilities
To monitor the daily booking on/off of Eurotech and client personnel. Any problems are to be reported to the relevant supervisor.
- To liaise with the previous duty controller/supervisor or manager at shift changeover, ensuring a full handover of information and instructions are understood for his/her duty. Report any problems to designated manager.
- To complete daily control room checklist ensuring everything is in working order in the building, identifying problems, defects and hazards, recording any problems and taking the appropriate action to rectify as soon as possible
- To liaise with Eurotech clients and Eurotech staff regarding any issues relating to alarm activations. Where appropriate liaise with emergency services i.e. police, fire brigade and London ambulance services, giving assistance and information as required
- To supervise mobile drivers monitoring their attendance and actions at client's premises.
- Ensure all Officers use key belts and are in full possession of equipment.
- To complete logs and write full detailed reports on all events during your shift
- Responsible for the monitoring, recording and safe keeping of client's keys
- In the event of operational problems or incidents, you are to inform the duty supervisor
- To wear the authorised company uniform at all times when on duty and to ensure you are presentable at all times
- To ensure that the company remains compliant with all procedures laid down in the control room manual.
- To ensure at the end of shift that all relevant paper work i.e alarm activation and book on/off sheets are completed and then faxed or emailed to the relevant clients
- To liase with oncoming duty controller at shift changeover, ensuring a full handover of information and instructions are understood for his/her duty
People Management
- To monitor staffing levels against the workload and to act accordingly. To ensure staffs are where they are needed, to match business needs. To report any problems to the Control Room Supervisor.
- To monitor and record the movement of Eurotech staff

Job Title: Alarm Response Officer
Reports to: Controller / Control Room Supervisor
Department: Operations
Job Purpose: You will be part of our emergency response team, carrying out security patrols, lock-ups, open-ups, and key holding response. You need to be flexible, conscientious and possess a full, clean driving license.
Rate: As Advertised
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday nights only and weekend days and nights working on a roster basis. Approx 48 hour week.
Principal Accountabilities
To respond to all operational duties as directed. Any problems are to be reported to the relevant supervisor.
- At the beginning of each shift or shift changeover you are to receive a full handover of instructions and information to carry out your duties.
- Obtain relevant equipment.
- To be aware and to act in accordance with the companyÅfs health and safety at work policy particularly in respect of the duties detailed at 4 and 5 below.
- To respond to alarm activations at clientÅfs premises as directed by the Duty Controller / Supervisor
- To carry out internal and external patrols at various client premises as directed by the Duty Controller / Supervisor
- To carry out lock-ups / open-ups at various client premises
- To liaise with Eurotech clients regarding issues in relation to alarm activations and where appropriate, liaise with emergency services, including police, fire brigade and London ambulance services, giving assistance and information as required
- To keep logs and write full detailed reports on all events during your shift, and to report any incidents and actions taken to the Duty Controller / Supervisor
- To be responsible for the safe keeping of clientÅfs keys and to drive safely and in accordance with road traffic regulations.

- Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the patrol vehicle while on duty, and advising the Duty Controller / Supervisor of any problems with the vehicle
- Responsible for the day to day upkeep and cleanliness of the vehicles.
- To wear the authorised uniform at all times when on duty and to ensure you are well presented at all times
